Article is accessible via https://doi.org/10.1177/09596836221088229.

The supplementary data and code for this project are accessible via the UNIMORE IRIS repository: https://doi.org/10.25431/11380_1254197.

To run the code used for the multivariate analysis and figures featured in this publication, please follow these steps.

1. Open the RStudio project ('Multivariate_Analysis_Servera_Vives_et_al_2022.Rproj') in RStudio.
2. From within the project, open the RMarkdown file ('Multivariate_Analysis_Servera_Vives_et_al_2022.Rmd')
3. Confirm that you have all the necessary packages downloaded to run this script (they are noted in section '0.0 Preamble').
4. Select 'Run all' from the run dropdown menu of Source pane to run all of the code chunks.
5. To knit the RMarkdown to create an html file ('Multivariate_Analysis_Servera_Vives_et_al_2022.html'), press the 'Knit' button at the top of the Source pane.
6. When running the Rstudio project, all paths are relative to the location of the project file. For this reason, all paths to the data needed to run this script are already set. All required data are located in the 'data' folder. Do not move the RStudio project file, RMarkdown file, or the data folder from their current folder.
