In the present chapter, we will address the role of emotions in sustainable eating. We will examine the most common behavioral models that incorporated affective factors into the predictors of pro-environmental food choices (the theory of planned behavior (TPB), the COM-B model, the model of pro-environmental behavior, and the social identity model of pro-environmental action (SIMPEA)) and we will review the findings of several studies conducted on discrete negative (disgust, guilt, regret) and positive (pride) emotions.

Abstract
In the present chapter, we will address the role of emotions in sustainable eating. We will examine the most common behavioral models that incorporated affective factors into the predictors of pro-environmental food choices (the theory of planned behavior (TPB), the COM-B model, the model of pro-environmental behavior, and the social identity model of pro-environmental action (SIMPEA)) and we will review the findings of several studies conducted on discrete negative (disgust, guilt, regret) and positive (pride) emotions.Pubblicazioni consigliate
