International arenas define the battleground where multiple public and private players, particularly large listed multinational corporations, compete both for territorial dominance and market share. It is a battlefield where markets are constantly evolving, with undefined dimensions and often uncertain, constantly challenged, and under pressure. In this changing landscape, the role of trade as an international stabiliser is linked to the rational concept of private property and its circulation in global markets. Trade, which operates primarily through maritime transport, has emancipated individuals economically and culturally, enabling them not only to exchange goods and products but also to penetrate potential new markets through foreign direct investment, adapting to different legal systems. In this hybrid scenario, in which every element of the public-private state system can become a useful tool for government objectives, it is appropriate to consider, holistically, the potential existing in the correlations between legal systems, markets, and economic operators.
